Retired Senior Police Officer Arnoldo F. Alanis passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, at the age of 73. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dolores M. Alanis. He joined the Houston Police Department on June 12, 1972, Academy Class #55. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Special Operations and Juvenile Divisions. Senior Police Officer Alanis retired on May 1, 2004.

 

The body is entrusted with Santana Funeral Directors – Macario Garcia, 401 Staff Sergeant Macario Garcia Drive, Houston, Texas 77011 (713) 921-3000.

 

A viewing will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2405 Navigation Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77003 (713) 222-0203, on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

 

A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Thursday, April 20, 2023, starting at 10:00 a.m.
