From Texas Police News to all our readers/subscribers we wish each of you individually and as a group a Very Happy, Safe and Prosperous New Year.
Next month, in February, The Police News enters it's 13th year of publication considering our years of print and web publishing.
Our success is attributed to our local advertisers who over the years have made it possible for us to publish free to our readers.
Three of those advertisers have been with us since our beginning, Coastal Community Federal Credit Union, Galveston College and Frank's Paint & Body Shop. Once again we extend our thanks and appreciation to them.
Of course we owe a great debt of thanks to our thousands of reader who log onto our website everyday to read the daily police news and share their thoughts and opinions on stories in our comment feature.  Many of you have been with us over the years and we thank you.
In conclusion let me wish each and everyone of you a very Happy, Safe and Prosperous New Year.  We hope to have you with us for years to come.

Thank you all,
Breck Porter, Editor/Publisher
