HOUSTON –
Congressman Kevin Brady announced that he has tested positive for the
coronavirus nearly two weeks after receiving his first dose of the
Pfizer vaccine.
Brandy, a
Republican, said he is in quarantine after the Office of Physician
informed him about his results. He said he received the recommended
first dose of the vaccine on Dec. 18 and also tested negative for
COVID-19 on New Year’s Day.
Brady said he begins treatment Wednesday and “should be fine.”
