SkyEye flying to Clear Lake for reported gas leak

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A gas line break has been reported at the intersection of Ramada Drive and Diana Lane, according to the Harris County Precinct 8 Constable's Office. The leak has forced the evacuation and temporary closure of the office and other government buildings in the area.

The constable's office adds that phone delays to their call center are ongoing until the phone transfer process can be completed. In the meantime, contact the Pasadena location at 281-479-2525.

The Houston Fire Department is on the scene of the leak. There's no immediate word on the cause or timeline for repair.

It's unclear if any residents have been asked to evacuate their homes in the area.

The courthouse, library and a popular park are all located nearby the reported leak.
