Paris Police were dispatched to a gunshot victim at an emergency room in the 3000 block of NE Loop 286 at 2:35 A.M. on January 13, 2022. The 30 year old victim was uncooperative with the officer and stated that he did not know where he was at when he was shot. The victim had a non-life threatening wound on his upper left arm. A second gunshot victim arrived at the PRMC emergency room at about 4:08 A.M. and reported that someone was beating on his front door in the 600 block of SE 6th St. around 3:00 A.M. on January 13, 2022 and was demanding to be let inside. This 38 year old victim told the person to leave and then heard a gunshot and felt something strike him in the abdomen. This victim reported that he then shot through the front door and he heard the person on the porch scream. The investigations continue.

Paris Police responded to 72 calls for service and arrested 2 persons on January 13, 2022.
