DEA's most recent Take Back Day took place this past weekend on Saturday, April 30. Since 2010, Take Back Day has removed more than 15,268,473 pounds of medication from circulation — we hope you were able to participate.

If you couldn't attend Take Back Day this time, you're not out of luck! You can safely dispose of unneeded medications year-round at more than 13,000 locations nationwide, including pharmacies, hospitals, police departments, and businesses. In addition, everyone in the community can now also use drop boxes at Veterans Administration medical centers to dispose of unneeded medications.
