Retired Senior Police Officer Thomas J. Chapman passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at the age of 61. Officer Chapman joined the Houston Police Department on September 21, 1981, Academy Class #100. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Southwest, Westside, Organizational Development Command, and Narcotics Divisions until his retirement on March 25, 2017.

The body is entrusted with Joseph J. Earthman Generations Funeral Home, 234 Westscott Street, Houston, Texas 77007 (713) 802-0000. A Visitation will be held at Joseph J. Earthman Generations Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Extra parking at the Law Firm parking lot next door)

A Funeral Service will be held at Northside Christian Church, 20250 Kuykendahl Road, Spring, Texas 77379 (281) 350-4630 on Thursday, September 8, 2022, commencing at 10:30 a.m.
