10:20 p.m. - Friendswood Police have finished executing a search warrant
in the 400 block Oak Vista Drive. This is no longer an active scene and
Friendswood Police do not believe the homicide was a random event.
There is no active threat to the neighborhood or community.

p.m. - Friendswood Police are asking for the public’s assistance in
locating a white 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 extended cab 4-door truck, TX
GTB7474. The person driving the vehicle is a person of interest in a
Friendswood homicide. Surveillance video captured the truck leaving
Friendswood on Saturday morning, September 10, 2022, at approximately
11:00 a.m.
Friendswood Police were dispatched to a death
investigation at a residence in the 400 block of Oak Vista at 12:40 p.m.
on Monday, September 12, 2022. When officers arrived, they conducted a
security sweep of the home and found a white male deceased in the front
hallway of the residence.
The Galveston County Medical
Examiner’s Office was called, and it appears that the deceased has a
head wound consistent with foul play. Police believe the man has been
dead inside the home for several days.
At this time, the
deceased’s identity has not been confirmed. Investigators will be
interviewing persons associated with the home and in the neighborhood.
