A 70-year-old man died early Sunday
morning while waiting in line at the ferry landing on the way to a
Galveston hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.
The
man already was in medical distress when he had a “heart attack or
medical episode” in a passenger car on the Bolivar Peninsula side of the
Galveston–Port Bolivar Ferry sometime after 1 a.m., County Sheriff
Henry Trochesset said Monday morning.
