Burglary
Nov.
8 (7:54 a.m.) A vehicle burglary was reported in the 600 block of High
Ridge Drive. The victim parked his vehicle in front of the house at
11:00 p.m. When he went to his vehicle at 7:30 a.m., he found that cash
was taken from the vehicle safe. The vehicle was left unlocked.
Nov.
8 (11:12 a.m.) A vehicle burglary was reported in the 200 block of
Falcon Lake Drive. The vehicle parked his vehicle in front of his
residence at 6:00 p.m. At 9:00 a.m. the next day, he found the vehicle
was rummaged through. The vehicle was unlocked.
Nov.
8 (11:27 a.m.) A vehicle burglary was reported at Stevenson Park, 1100
S. Friendswood Drive. The victim parked his vehicle on the east side of
the park near the disc golf course. The victim’s driver’s license and
debit card were stolen. The vehicle was left unlocked at the time of
the theft.

9 (7:20 a.m.) A vehicle burglary was reported at the Bridgestone
Apartments located at 4949 FM 2351. The burglary occurred between
10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. The driver’s side window was broken. A lunch
box, a vehicle title, and some other non-valuable items were stolen.

9 (9:23 a.m.) A kayak and fishing poles were stolen from a storage
building located at 4830 FM 2351. Entry was possibly gained through an
adjacent storage unit.
Nov.
9 (10:50 p.m.) Officers responded to a burglary alarm at Auto Zone, 302
E. Parkwood Avenue. When the officer arrived, he found a side door
ajar. He entered the business, did not find anyone inside, and secured
the scene. The door appeared to have been pried open with a pry bar.
After going through the store with the manager, nothing appeared to be
missing.
Nov.
11 (7:30 a.m.) Two vehicles were burglarized in the 1900 block of
LaSalle. Both vehicles were parked in the driveway and were left
unlocked. Items stolen from the vehicles included a purse, driver's
license, key fob, house keys, checks and cash.
Nov. 11 (9:52 a.m.) A vehicle burglary was reported in the 5000 block of Abercreek Avenue. A firearm was stolen.
Theft
Nov. 6 (8:19 a.m.) A Friendswood woman accidentally left her cell phone at Kroger located at 3135 FM 528 on November 4th.
The phone was not turned into the store management. Later, the same
day, whoever stole the cell phone transferred funds out of the victim’s
Venmo account. She did not have a security lock on the phone.

6 (11:48 a.m.) A local home builder mailed a check to a creditor. The
check was intercepted, the payee name was changed, and the check was
cashed.
Nov.
7 (8:51 a.m.) A local dentist office mailed a check to a creditor. The
check was intercepted, stolen, the payee changed, and deposited for an
amount more than the original check was written for.
Nov.
8 (9:53 a.m.) A purse was stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of
Bolivar Point Lane. The victim had construction workers, domestic
workers, and another family member at the home at the time of the theft.
Nov. 8 (3:20 p.m.) A business in the 200 block of E. Edgewood Drive reports that they mailed a check to a creditor on November 2nd.
The check was picked up by the mail carrier. However, the check did
not make it to the creditor. Instead, information from the check was
used to forge a check that was deposited to a different payee.

9 (12:48 p.m.) A Houston woman loaded her groceries into her car at
HEB, 701 W. Parkwood Avenue. She drove away and left her purse in the
grocery cart. No one has turned in the purse.
Nov.
12 (4:32 p.m.) A bicycle theft was reported at HEB, 701 W. Parkwood
Avenue. The bicycle was parked on the exterior of the store by the
shopping carts on the north side of the building. The bike was locked
to a post. The lock was cut, and the bicycle was stolen. The bicycle
is described as a Haro Men’s Flightline 27.5 inch mountain bike. It is
white with black handlebars. The suspect is a male wearing a black
jacket with a red hood.
Fraud
Nov.
6 (3:24 p.m.) A Friendswood man is the victim of identity theft. He
received emails from two different banks and a phone call from a third
bank regarding applications for new accounts that were opened using his
personal identifying information.
Nov.
6 (11:53 p.m.) A Friendswood man met a woman through an online dating
site. They exchanged Snapchat information and began sending intimate
photographs and other explicit images between them. The “victim” sent
money to the woman so they could meet up. When the full amount of the
money was not sent, the woman threatened to expose the victim to family
and friends.

7 (9:34 a.m.) A Friendswood home-based business discovered that someone
gained access to the business bank account and made seven unauthorized
transactions.
Nov.
9 (11:43 a.m.) A Friendswood woman believes her identity was stolen and
sold on the dark web. She has had several apartments and cars rented
using her personal identifying information.
Traffic
Nov.
7 (10:34 a.m.) Friendswood police arrived at the scene of a crash at
the intersection of S. Friendswood Drive at E. Edgewood Drive. One of
the vehicles involved in the crash left the scene without providing the
required information. The suspect vehicle was a white Tesla driven by a
black male in his 20s to 30s. The victim did take a picture of the Tesla
license plate and provided it to police.
Nov.
10 (8:41 p.m.) Three vehicles were involved in a crash in the 2900
block of FM 528. A white truck that caused the accident left the scene.

Ryan Christopher Bennett, 43, of Friendswood, was charged with Unlawful Use of Criminal Instrument.
Crystal Marie Miley, 51, of Houston, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Nov. 9
Moise Kurt Bedar, 55, of League City, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
Seth Aaron Leifeste, 40, of Prairie View, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Sophia Maria Vasquez, 31, of Houston, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
James Scott Bradley, Jr., 30, of Pearland, was charged with Driving While License Invalid.
Nov. 10
Malcomb Jerome Williams, Jr., 47, of Nassau Bay, was charged with No Driver’s License.
Lester Butler, 73, of Friendswood, was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury – Family Member.
Nancy Elizabeth Jones, 25, of Friendswood, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Dawn Lynelle McInturff, 62, of Friendswood, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
Nov. 12
Paul Anthony Cantu, 41, of Houston, was charged with Driving While License Invalid.
Jose Alfredo Hernandez, 19, of Pearland, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
Gina Angelina Aguilera, 20, of Pearland, was charged with Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.
Jennifer Moreno, 19, of Pearland, was charged with Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.
Makenna Marie Lomelo, 17, of Friendswood, was charged with Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.
Jade Riley Arends, 18, of Pearland, was charged with Minor in Possession of Alcohol.
Bryan Juarez, 29, of Houston, was charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
Lorenzo Itzep Xiloj, 34, of Webster, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Alcohol Container.
