Houston police are investigating the shooting of two females at 7400 Wheatley Street about 10 p.m. on Monday (November 16).

A female, 14, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.  The juvenile's mother, 36, was also transported to an area hospital where she was treated and released.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives J. Roberts and A. Ferrell reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a hospital check in north Houston.  Upon arrival, they found both females suffering from gunshot wounds.  The juvenile had been shot multiple times and her mother had been shot in the right ankle.  Investigators subsequently learned the shooting occurred following a vehicle crash involving two suspects described only as unknown black males.

Two additional male juveniles, ages 14 and 16, were with the victims at the time of the shooting.  They were unharmed.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division at 713-308-8800 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

Comments:
Acevado and Turner will blame this on COV 19 rather than their incompetence in policing and running the city of Houston
