On September 1,
2018, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 11800 block
of Hillbrook Drive in reference to a theft of a firearm. Upon deputies
arriving, the complainant reported that her 20 Gauge Mossberg Shotgun was
stolen from her bedroom.
After a thorough
investigation, Constable Deputies were able to locate a witness who stated that
they observed the complainant’s ex-husband, Ryan Lemay enter the residence and
leave with the stolen shotgun. It was later discovered that Ryan Lemay sold the
shotgun to a local pawn shop.
“Ryan Lemay was arrested
and booked into Harris County Jail, charged with Theft of a Firearm and Felon
in Possession of a Firearm. His bond was set at $6,500.00 out of the 228th
District Court.” –Constable Mark Herman
