FORT WORTH, TX - At 4:45 this afternoon FWFD responded to a report of a commercial structure fire in the 2900blk of Shotts St.  When crews arrived on scene they found a heavy haze in a large commercial building.  Crews made entry to investigate the source. As the situation continued, more information was received, the building was in the process of being fumigated. Crews were then immediately removed from the building. 9 Firefighters were exposed to the pesticide and all 9 were transported to the hospital for further evaluation.  23 citizens that were in the building next-door to the building being fumigated were also evaluated for exposure and released.  FWFD Hazmat team was on site to monitor and conduct decontamination.  Crews will remain on scene as clean up continues.
