Council on Consumer Direction member must regularly participate in council
meetings and in other meetings as needed. Council meetings are held about once
every three months in Austin or at the call of the presiding officer. To the extent permitted by the
current state budget, a member of the Texas Council on Consumer Direction who
is a client or family member of a client may be reimbursed for their travel to
