On November 4, 2019, Conroe PD Narcotics Detectives, with the assistance of Conroe PD SWAT and Montgomery County Precinct 2 Constables, executed a search warrant at 14004 McCombs Road in Conroe, Texas.

Upon executing the warrant the main suspect in the investigation, Thomas Bryce, was located just outside the residence.

A subsequent search of the residence yielded large quantities of high potency THC wax and food products.

An elaborate butane lab system used for synthesizing raw marijuana into high potency THC wax was also located on the premises.  This is the first known lab of its kind located within Montgomery County, as these products are usually shipped in from other states.

Bryce was taken into custody for aggravated manufacture/delivery of a penalty group 2 controlled substance and possession of a penalty group 1 controlled substance, more than 1 but less than 4 grams, and transported to the MCSO jail.
