PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Two men were found shot to death early Tuesday in a Philadelphia home after an incident that authorities called a “domestic situation gone bad.”
Police went to the home around 12:45 a.m. after a man believed to be the shooter called 911 and reported what had happened, authorities said. Officers found him sitting in a chair in the basement near the bodies of two relatives, ages 60 and 84.
The suspected shooter, identified only as a man in his 60s, was taken into custody at the scene, but it wasn’t clear if he has been charged in the slayings.
Authorities have not released the names of the two men killed or said how the three me were related. They also said a motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
