Houston police arrested NFL player Kemah Siverand after a brief police chase over the weekend.
Siverand was allegedly involved in some kind of street
race with several other cars along North Loop 610 near Lockwood Drive
early Saturday morning. When police came to break up the race,
Siverand initially pulled over – but then drove for another mile,

He was arrested and charged with felony evading in a motor vehicle.
Two others, Rolando Macias and Illsen Urruita, both 19,
were stopped and charged with racing on a highway. Two more drivers
The 24-year-old Siverand, who was a star at Cypress Ridge
High School, went undrafted out of Oklahoma State in 2020, but was
signed by the Seattle Seahawks. The cornerback was released by the
Seahawks when he broke COVID-19 protocols and tried to sneak a woman
into his hotel room during training camp. He later was signed by the Las
Vegas Raiders, but has yet to appear in an NFL game.
Court records show Siverand was booked and released on a personal bond.
