Date:September 1, 2021 Issued by: Captain Nate Duermeyer Time:8:10p.m. Topic:Officer-involved shooting At approximately 5:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Henson Drive in reference to a white male, who was armed with a knife, threatening family members. Upon arrival of the officer, the subject threatened the officer with the knife and the officer was forced to discharge his duty weapon. The subject was transported to JPS Hospital and is in stable condition The officer was unharmed in the incident.
