Precinct One investigators, in partnership with Humble Police
Department, worked collaboratively on an undercover operation to
apprehend two suspects accused of stealing a 20 ft. utility trailer, and
a red Silverado truck.
Marina Rodriguez, 34, Humble, and Nicholas Pringle, 29, Humble were
arrested, on August 4, 2022, for felony theft and unauthorized use of a
motor vehicle, after having the stolen truck and attempting to sell the
stolen trailer on Facebook Marketplace.
Investigators posed as potential buyers wanting to purchase the trailer
from Rodriguez. Both suspects were arrested without incident, upon
arrival at the meeting location.
The trailer was reported stolen from Humble, Texas. The truck was
reported stolen from Pasadena, Texas. Both suspects were transported to
the Harris County Jail for processing. A bond has not been set at this
time.
