SkyEye flying to Clear Lake for reported gas leak
HOUSTON,
Texas (KTRK) -- A gas line break has been reported at the intersection
of Ramada Drive and Diana Lane, according to the Harris County Precinct 8
Constable's Office. The leak has forced the evacuation and temporary
closure of the office and other government buildings in the area.
The
constable's office adds that phone delays to their call center are
ongoing until the phone transfer process can be completed. In the
meantime, contact the Pasadena location at 281-479-2525.
The Houston Fire Department is on the scene of the leak. There's no immediate word on the cause or timeline for repair.
It's unclear if any residents have been asked to evacuate their homes in the area.
The courthouse, library and a popular park are all located nearby the reported leak.
